What skills have you developed through this module and how effectively do you think you have applied them?
I feel i developed skills in several areas during this module all of them being digital based; developing skills such as animation based skills with only previous skills really being stop motion and video and through out this module developed my ability to use after effects; them being leaning key framing, 3D space and pacing. I developed early skills of stop motion to produce a small stop motion sequence within my animation which worked well in my animation The stop motion skills were applied effectively because of the development in illustrator skills which involved producing gadgets in vector format. Also throughout the module i developed skills in effectively using iweb which helped me better organize my work.

Many of these skills i feel were applied very effectively resulting in, i feel, a strong resolution.

What approaches to generating work and solutions to problems have you developed and how have they helped?

I feel i slightly changed my approach to generating work for this module, that being developing slightly more on the computer as i felt it was more appropriate way of working because of the amount of time it would take to animate. During this module i tried to continue the approaches i used in the last module looking at variations on the one idea and trying out these ideas and i feel that this has helped me produce a stronger piece.

What strengths can you identify in your work and how have/will you capitalize on these?

I feel that the strengths within my work is the final resolution as it works effectively and that the development of this idea has also been a strength and because of this, i will try to produce more animated work The presentation of backup work is an improvement, this is probably because its digitized but i do feel this is a strength within the work.

What weaknesses can you identify in your work and how could you exploit these more fully?

I feel i occasionally didn't sketch some of the variations i considered down despite producing them digitally and i feel that this is a weakness as it could have allowed me to produce variations on those variations and possibly improved the final piece. Other weaknesses include those within my research as not much primary material had really being gathered i felt it could have altered the design decisions i made later on in the top ten brief.

Identify five things you will do differently next time and what you expect to gain from doing these.

• Produce more ideas on paper when i produce work for digital media would allow me to produce stronger work
  
• Look at more existing designers as i felt during this module that it focused that highly on.
  
• Improve on the amount of primary research i produce which would allow me to make more informed decisions when producing my work.
• Better continuous evaluation of my work again to allow me to make more informed decisions when producing my work.
• Spend more time on developing an idea rather than quickly producing it digitally.
